Dear Springfield Youth Symphony Members and Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 season of the Springfield Youth Symphony! I am honored to begin my second season as Music Director and to continue working with this exceptional group of young musicians. Having previously served as Associate Director from 2006 to 2017, I have long felt a deep connection to this organization and its mission to inspire excellence, creativity, and community through music.

This season promises to be one of our most exciting yet. I’m thrilled to announce the addition of a Pops Concert to our performance schedule, giving us a fun and fresh opportunity to explore a different side of orchestral repertoire. Even more thrilling is our invitation to perform at the Harmony Honors Invitational—at none other than Carnegie Hall in New York City! This is a prestigious opportunity that recognizes the talent, dedication, and hard work of our ensemble, and I couldn’t be more proud.

Whether you're a returning member or joining us for the first time, I look forward to sharing in the growth, challenges, and unforgettable musical moments ahead.
